This is another example of our customers selecting our low height 12′ wide 50,000 BPH scale which has a lower height than competitive 40,000 BPH systems while delivering close to 60,000 BPH throughput.
The customer upgraded our standard scale system by specifying:
- 1′ of additional upper garner providing
- ¼” Expanded Metal Backed Urethane all 3 Hoppers
- Lower garner gate with position control
- 4-sided third tier platform at top of scale
- 12′ x 12′ x 44′ Support Structure for placement next to rail, including certified engineering drawings. Structure shipped as one integral unit to reduce installation.
- Telescoping-spout with hydraulic winch at rail envelope. 1/4″ Urethane lining at impact and telescoping section with 24″ stroke at railcar. Spout powered from scale hydraulic unit.
- Empty level sensor on Lower Garner to be able to use our SmartLoad system that ensures that the scale continues to run while a new car is positioned under the spout,
