For this Ethanol facility we provided a support tower and our 20,000 BPH fully enclosed bulkweighing scale with 3′ of extended upper garner capacity. To ensure good flow of the DDGS product (Dried Distillers Grains with Solubles), all hopper cones were increased to 60 degrees.

The scale included 2 levels of platforms, automatic test weight lifting and hydraulic power unit. It was shipped assembled, wired, piped and pre-tested, ready for installation.

The scale is controlled by our powerful, but inexpensive, DWC-400 controller. The customer ordered our ModBus communications system which allows a plant automation system to control and monitor all scale functions.
